Waiting for the download
20 titles, checked one by one.
Why this collection exists
For the gaps you did not choose: waiting for a large file to finish downloading, waiting for an update to install, waiting for the person at the other end of the line to answer. Interestingly, this is the moment when games demanding full attention are least useful, because your attention is genuinely still on the progress bar in the other window. This collection arranges games that can be played with half an eye: boards that accept one move every few dozen seconds, cards that wait for your turn, and games that do not punish you for looking away. Every title here can also be abandoned instantly when your download finishes, with no round to complete, no progress lost, and no screen asking whether you really meant to leave.
